comprendre la mort<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n\n

7 fran\u00e7ais sur 10 meurt en institution. Entre la d\u00e9personnalisation de la mort et le tabou qui entoure ce monde et ses travailleurs, la mort reste un lieu de silence<\/em>. Il y a pourtant un r\u00e9el besoin de lib\u00e9rer la parole, que ce soit pour ceux qui cherchent \u00e0 la vivre plus sainement ou pour soulever des questions importantes<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n\n

Nos corps sont aujourd’hui des restes toxiques qui ne se r\u00e9int\u00e8grent plus dans les cycles de la transformation. Nos corps ne se d\u00e9composent plus<\/em>. Au-del\u00e0 des probl\u00e8mes concrets engendr\u00e9s par cette situation comme le manque de place et la pollution des sols, des questions se posent sur notre esp\u00e8ce et notre rapport \u00e0 la vie<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n\n

En France, la demande pour de nouveaux enterrement \u00e9cologiques est de plus en plus forte. Un retour \u00e0 la terre est envisag\u00e9 au travers de plusieurs processus qui cherchent \u00e0 se r\u00e9pandre. Je vais donc me pencher sur l’inhumation \u00e9cologique<\/em>, mettant en avant la magie de la m\u00e9tamorphose et notre r\u00e9inscription dans le cycle<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Le rituel fun\u00e9raire par son universalit\u00e9 est transversal<\/em>. Des \u00e9l\u00e9ments – l’eau et la lumi\u00e8re – et rites sont communs. La c\u00e9r\u00e9monie fun\u00e9raire op\u00e8re un d\u00e9zoom progressif gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la pri\u00e8re qui rythme la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie et appelle \u00e0 la contemplation<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Je descends de ma voiture. Le vent fouette mon visage, l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re est humide. Je m\u2019enfonce dans le bois, au rythme des arbres le long du chemin. Le paysage se transforme, m\u2019encadre. Je suis doucement amen\u00e9 aux fun\u00e9railles avant d\u2019y plonger. <\/em><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Le sol est diff\u00e9rent, plus meuble. C\u2018est de la terre. J\u2019y enfonce mon pied en d\u00e9couvrant le d\u00e9funt, pos\u00e9 sur un canal d\u2019eau, le visage d\u00e9couvert. Ses proches m\u2019accueillent, je baisse la t\u00eate en signe de respect. Ici, le vent chante et la lumi\u00e8re danse. Je m\u2019approche alors de lui pour y d\u00e9poser mon souvenir<\/em>.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Sa mort: difficile apparemment, son humeur combative n’a pas \u00e9pargn\u00e9 la grande faucheuse. On sent les sourires malgr\u00e9 les yeux humides, face \u00e0 ce trait de caract\u00e8re que toute l’assembl\u00e9e connaissait en lui. Sa fille commence alors un discours plus sensible sur sa vie, un discours \u00e9crit \u00e0 plusieurs mains.<\/em><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Nous commen\u00e7ons alors \u00e0 glisser le corps sur le canal, marchant au rythme des clapotis. Le vent chante toujours. Je ne pense \u00e0 rien, mon esprit transport\u00e9 par la cadence de la marche, lente et r\u00e9guli\u00e8re, mes pas s\u2019enfon\u00e7ant dans la terre. Soudain, le bruit de mon pied dans l\u2019eau me sort de ma torpeur.<\/em><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

L\u2019eau mouille subtilement mes chaussures. Le ma\u00eetre de c\u00e9r\u00e9monie prend alors la parole. Avec un regard pour le mort, il commence \u00e0 nous raconter sa pr\u00e9sence aux soins palliatifs et la place qu\u2019il avait dans la communaut\u00e9. Il fait la synth\u00e8se de sa vie avec plus de distance que sa famille mais beaucoup de respect.<\/em><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Nous effectuons un beau chemin \u00e0 travers le bois des souvenirs. Les arbres cohabitent avec des tumulus, des plaques discr\u00e8tes  indiquent l\u2019emplacement de chaque Homme devenu arbre. Je me sens comme pris d\u2019une envie de d\u00e9ambuler, \u00e0 la d\u00e9couverte des identit\u00e9s de chacun, de leur nouvelle forme<\/em>.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

une grande table remplie de victuailles annonce un repas. C\u2019est le lancement du deuil mais aussi le retour \u00e0 la vie. Rassembl\u00e9s dans ce foyer, chacun \u00e9changes autour de sa m\u00e9moire. Nous rions, consolons le fils avec des anecdotes sur son p\u00e8re. Et nous mangeons. Et buvons. Nous repleurerons demain.<\/em><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Un an plus tard, nous voil\u00e0 de retour. Son fils m\u2019a demand\u00e9 de l\u2019accompagner, avec le reste de la famille, pour r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer le pot de terre. C\u2019est les seconde fun\u00e9railles.  Il est l\u2019heure de pique-niquer avec lui. On pleure un peu, on rit beaucoup et on regarde le soleil, aussi \u00e9clatant que l\u2019\u00e9tait son linceul.<\/em><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Le rituel est compos\u00e9 de deux espaces: la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie<\/em> et le repas<\/em> qui s’organisent autour du bois des souvenirs, for\u00eat cin\u00e9raire qui accueille les arbres issus de l’inhumation \u00e9cologique<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

L’espace de c\u00e9r\u00e9monie marque l’\u00e9lan dans le deuil. Reprenant l’imaginaire de la maison, la charpente rythme le chemin selon sa cadence. Le toit, en un grand d\u00e9grad\u00e9 color\u00e9, se d\u00e9ploie pour peu \u00e0 peu faire entrer le paysage. Des tuiles de verres font danser la lumi\u00e8re et des fl\u00fbtes \u00e0 vent sur les pannes sabli\u00e8res chantent<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Le repas apr\u00e8s les fun\u00e9railles marque le retour \u00e0 la vie. Encaiss\u00e9, entre la grotte et la hutte, cet espace qui reprend les codes du foyer permet d’apercevoir cette nouvelle r\u00e9alit\u00e9 qu’est la vie sans le d\u00e9funt<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n
