Le cirque, est un art intemporel et qui se renouvelle sans cesse. Le performeur qu\u2019est l\u2019artiste, quitte un \u00e9tat stable, statique ou dynamique, pour se placer volontairement en situation de d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibre. L\u2019acrobate dessine dans l\u2019espace un geste que son intention a structur\u00e9 et orient\u00e9 dans l\u2019\u00e9tendue qui entoure toute chose.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

J’ai d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d’aller suivre une troupe de cirque de rue en Bretagne, le collectif Kaboum. Je me suis approch\u00e9e d’eux, par la perception, et j’ai v\u00e9cu \u00e0 leur c\u00f4t\u00e9s durant un temps pour les rencontrer et apprendre \u00e0 les conna\u00eetre. Ce qui m\u2019a le plus marqu\u00e9 c\u2019est l\u2019\u00e9nergie formidable qu\u2019ils d\u00e9ploient pour leur communaut\u00e9. Ils font preuve d’une grande cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 pour vivre avec l’essentiel, avec trois fois rien.\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n\n\n\n

Les compagnies rencontrent aujourd’hui de plus en plus de difficult\u00e9s \u00e0 trouver des lieux ou se produire. Il est compliqu\u00e9 d’arriver dans les villes et il faut de plus en plus n\u00e9gocier sa place aupr\u00e8s des mairies, n\u00e9gocier son droit \u00e0 l’expression dans la rue, son droit \u00e0 l’existence.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Dans une place qui est politique physique et sociale, s’inscrit Caravelle, un espace sc\u00e9nique, \u00e0 fleur de mer\nCaravelle est une invitation au voyage pour les citadins et un point d’ancrage pour les troupes nomades. Elle a pour ambition de faire apparaitre l\u2019espace urbain comme une sc\u00e8ne tour \u00e0 tour quotidienne et \u00e9v\u00e8nementielle.\nElle est compos\u00e9e d’une structure principale tr\u00e8s a\u00e9rienne, et d’un p\u00e9rim\u00e8tre de promenade fixe qui ancre le projet dans le lieu.\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n\n\n

C’est alors qu’au loin, on entend une troupe arriver dans la ville.\nLe spectacle du montage se d\u00e9roule d\u00e9j\u00e0 devant les regards curieux des passants. La troupe d\u00e9roule une farandole de fanions pour habiter le lieu, elle installe les \u00e9clairages et le son pendant que certains membres s’\u00e9chauffent.\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n\n\n

Enfin, la troupe est pr\u00eate \u00e0 jouer, la nuit tombe et le public d’une centaine de personne viens s’installer sur les gradins.\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n\n\n

Le clou du spectacle se d\u00e9roule au dessus de la mer. Le trap\u00e9ziste s’\u00e9lance, et voltige dans les airs. Le public s’\u00e9merveille et acclame la troupe.\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n\n\n

Le spectacle est termin\u00e9, les spectateurs encore \u00e9blouis par les prouesses des circassiens font une derni\u00e8re promenade avant de rentrer chez eux. Ils s’installent au bout du ponton pour admirer le reflet de la lune sur les vagues.\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n\n\n\n

Circus performers are struggling to continue to make a living from this art form that conveys emotion and sensitivity. It is time to create new links between the circus and the city. By imagining a scenic space, right on the sea, this project aims to make the urban space appear as a stage for both daily life and events. In line with the cultural plan of La Seyne-sur-Mer, Caravel is located on the remains of the city's former shipyards.
