La m\u00e9moire des baignades sauvages dans la Marne<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n\n

Les Bassins L\u00e9opold Bellan se situent dans \u00e0 Bry-sur-Marne, ville r\u00e9put\u00e9e notamment pour ses bords de Marne o\u00f9 les habitants pouvaient se baigner librement jusque dans les ann\u00e9es 70. \u00c0 partir de cette date, les baignades sauvages ont \u00e9t\u00e9 interdites \u00e0 cause de la forte pollution de l\u2019eau.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

L’envie exprim\u00e9e par les habitants de retrouver les sensations d’autonomie et de libert\u00e9 qu’offraient les baignades sauvages a inspir\u00e9 le concept des Bassins L\u00e9opold Bellan.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Des bassins aux lignes courbes<\/em><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n\n

Les bassins sont dessin\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 donner l\u2019impression que le b\u00e2timent a \u00e9t\u00e9 inond\u00e9. Ils ont une forme libre aux courbes progressives qui permettent de comprendre rapidement les jeux de profondeur et favoriser la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des baigneurs.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

In a building suffused with history, the L\u00e9opold Bellan Swimming Baths reproduce the sensations of wild swimming in the Marne. The original building is preserved and transformed into an aquatic centre, the architecture of which draws on what already exists in order to give the impression that it has always been this way. The pools are designed in order to reduce potentially dangerous behaviour with a view to promoting independence and freedom for bathers.
