Vous souvenez-vous de cette sensation d\u2019immersion progressive dans l\u2019eau au fur et \u00e0 mesure que la profondeur s\u2019intensifie ? De ce que vous ressentez au toucher sous vos pieds ? C\u2019est cette exp\u00e9rience que nous souhaitons faire vivre au travers de notre projet Bassins Leopold Bellan.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Le projet Bassins L\u00e9opold Bellan se situe \u00e0 Bry-sur-Marne \u00e0 dix minutes \u00e0 pied des bords de la Marne qui ont longtemps \u00e9t\u00e9 des lieux de vill\u00e9giature. Malheureusement en 1970 les baignades ont \u00e9t\u00e9 interdites \u00e0 cause de la pollution des eaux. Depuis, un projet d\u2019un millard d\u2019euro se met en place pour rendre la baignade \u00e0 nouveau possible, ce qui souligne une envie forte de retrouver des lieux de baignade sauvage loin des r\u00e8gles et contraintes des piscines municipales.\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n\n\n

Sur l\u2019ancienne mezzanine, les cabines qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pens\u00e9es dans une optique de libert\u00e9 : ici il est possible de venir se changer seul ou \u00e0 plusieurs. Elles sont isol\u00e9es du reste de l\u2019espace pour une paroi en verre granit\u00e9 laissant seulement appara\u00eetre une l\u00e9g\u00e8re ombre.\u00a0\nUne fois chang\u00e9s nous pouvons ranger nos affaires dans les casiers se trouvant dans les parois qui s\u00e9parent les blocs de cabines. Ils sont plac\u00e9s ici afin de se fondre au mieux dans le b\u00e2timent et respecter visuellement le style architectural des lieux.\u00a0\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n\n\n

In a building suffused with history, the L\u00e9opold Bellan Swimming Baths reproduce the sensations of wild swimming in the Marne. The original building is preserved and transformed into an aquatic centre, the architecture of which draws on what already exists in order to give the impression that it has always been this way. The pools are designed in order to reduce potentially dangerous behaviour with a view to promoting independence and freedom for bathers.
