Recherches historiques et architecturales<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n\n

L\u00e9opold Bellan visait \u00e0 l\u2019am\u00e9lioration morale, intellectuelle et physique des populations les plus d\u00e9sh\u00e9rit\u00e9es.
Ce gymnase est la mat\u00e9rialisation de son id\u00e9e. Mon premier travail a \u00e9t\u00e9 de comprendre cette architecture, ses symboles, ses assemblages techniques mais aussi son rapport au vide, \u00e9l\u00e9ment majeur de cet espace.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

1 – pratique des arts martiaux internes<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n\n

Ce b\u00e2timent, class\u00e9 aux Monuments Historiques, laisse place, en son centre, un espace vide entour\u00e9 par une s\u00e9rie de linge permettant ainsi aux personnes pratiquant leur discipline d’abstraire le lieu et ainsi de le retrouver par la suite afin de l’observer \u00e0 nouveau.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

1bis – h\u00e9bergement temporaire<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n\n

Les gymnases sont, pour une ville, une v\u00e9ritable pi\u00e8ce en plus. Lors de sinistres exceptionnels ils se transforment afin accueillir des personnes dans le besoin. Celui de Bry-sur-Marne officialise ses \u00e9pisodes d’urgence en cr\u00e9ant un mobilier sp\u00e9cifique et adapt\u00e9, puis\u00e9 dans le dessin du mobilier existant.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

2- logements permanents<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n\n

Dans une aile du b\u00e2timent des logements permanents sont \u00e0 disposition pour les sans-abris de la ville. En collaboration avec une infirmi\u00e8re et aide aux SDF, nous avons \u00e9tabli un programme qui a pour but de redonner un rythme \u00e0 ces personnes en leur octroyant un espace priv\u00e9, des responsabilit\u00e9s et en cultivant de nouveaux liens.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Through a dual programme, the gymnasium embraces its roles as a key venue, a real bonus for the town. As such, permanent housing assistance is offered in one wing of the building, while the central space is dedicated to practising internal martial arts and, in exceptional circumstances, for temporary accommodation in the event of a disaster.
