This introspection is the methodical analysis of the changing way in which we consume and inhabit the kitchen, and of our relationship with the very act of cooking. Modes and habits of food consumption are challenged from a very personal perspective. The polymorphic project uses tools of expression other than writing and is interspersed with appendices. The ensemble forms strata illustrating the complexity of a way of thinking. The dissertation is based on the deconsumption movement observed from the early 21st century. The kitchen is central to the challenges of this transition towards more environmentally-friendly, sound and virtuous consumption.
