The Léopold Bellan gymnasium was built with education in mind, to offer an environment for young people. While retaining a link with its history and original ambition, we have tailored it to current issues. Today, environmental challenges are an unavoidable subject. The aim for this municipal swimming pool is to come up with a project that responds to these issues, developing a sensitive language. It makes use of the techniques of, among others, waste stabilisation using plants to create a landscaped ensemble that addresses the inside and outside within a single garden. A real porosity will therefore be clearly visible between the building and its surroundings. Through this natural swimming pool, a green, fun landscape has been created, open to the town.
