Becoming aware of current environmental issues, today's designer must use their designs to raise awareness of a new approach to creation. They must consider the materials to be used and their impact on the environment. I therefore decided to work with scraps of a universal material: wood. A carpentry workshop generates a large amount of sawdust and shavings that are often not reused. Starting from this constant and recovering these scraps, my project aims to create a new natural material.Scrap aims to show the infinite possibilities of using this material, its strength, malleability and textures. The result is a collection of objects made entirely of sawdust and shavings.
