Bench stories projects the urban furniture over 50 years through a fictional narrative littered with societal and environmental issues to explore the current lifestyle of Parisians. Water creates a common denominator between past, present and future, thereby allowing us to project ourselves into what could be one of our realities. The 5 benches of this project are created through the development of different fictional environments created from real data. Bench stories is a stroll through time along the Canal Saint Martin, which sheds light on a hypothesis of the future and explores our habits, our lifestyles, our relationship with water and our environment.
