Warda/flower (Arabic)“There are always flowers for those who want to see them” Matisse. To my mind, flowers symbolise the diversity that surrounds us. We love them, we idealise them, whatever their shape, their colour, their size. The plant world has always represented a very important part of my inspiration, I have always sought to incorporate artisanal values into my work, something I was lucky enough to discover in Morocco. Each piece is made by hand, a true work of precision and preciousness. This project is the meeting of this Moroccan brass craft with the plant world. I unfurled a written piece around this floral universe, and each detail of my objects were designed based on anatomical drawings of flowers.
