During a crisis, children and their education are pushed into the background. Many refugees spend over 10 years of their life in camps, not to mention the children who are born there. My project, based in the Democratic Republic of Congo, offers a school designed for these children. Built with local materials and techniques, this school could accommodate several hundred children. The worldwide institution that is school offers a degree of stability for people who have been uprooted and have very often lost everything. This safe place would therefore provide a place where they could be children above all.
